Cherry Blossom baby {A newborn session}

Lovely little Mackenzie was born April 16th just two days before her mom was scheduled to have her. She weighed in at 6 pounds and 14 ounces! I loved being able to use some cherry blossoms in this session and just a day before the shoot I asked Tamara from Tamara’s tutus and toques to whip up something to match the idea. She delivered the adorable pixie bonnet that I absolutely love! Mackeznie was a great little model and we have a lovely Couture Chiffon Headband with diamond rhinestone button from Crystal Clear Boutique that was a fun contrast to her deep brown hair! or the session and her big brother Ethan had some fun in the portraits too!

This regal crown was purchased from Xoxo Couture, Aimee has tons of cutie patootie stuff!

I just adore these next few images…

And a new fave if mine!

Ethan, you’re such a ham sometimes!

Taste the rainbow {a maternity session}

A punch of fun with a bursting of rainbow!  We all definitely had fun at this session. In the morning we were wondering if the weather was going to hold and it did.  It was perfect diffused lighting and at the last minute there was a request to tie in some skittles… I loved the idea!

It’s going to be a surprise, can’t wait to see what the little monkey is.

I love the two shots below because this was when their daughter took charge, posed and directed them! I think she’s pretty excited to become a big sister.

Awe this one melts my heart because it’s such a big natural hug! cute~

a cozy newborn session

This is Caden at almost 3 weeks old. I loved this session (even though he was a bit fussy) because it is so cozy to me, so comfortable! I was very blessed to come into the home and capture some close moments of this family of four. I say four because little Caden has a big brother in Heaven who will always be watching out for him. Rachael you are one of the strongest mothers I have ever met and I was so touched to see memories of Tristin adorn the nursery for Caden, what a perfect way to love on both boys. Caden is a handsome little guy and you’re going to enjoy him so much!  The shot below I simply love… rockstar baby, throwing up those horns already!! What a little man…

four weeks old {a newborn session}

I typically like to photograph newborns before they’re two weeks old, but that doesn’t always work out.  Here little Riley is four weeks old and he was a fantastic little guy.  So cute!!!  I had so much fun posing this little man with the help of his wonderful momma. His big brother Brody  (super duper smiley guy!) was a lot of fun and we shared a few good laughs while he ate a snack half way through the session.

She knows, he doesn’t! {a maternity session}

She just couldn’t wait to find out what they’re having but he didn’t want to know…so she does and he doesn’t, how cute is that! I could never keep that a secret but she’s done such a good job that when I asked him if he had any idea, if she’s given it away at all and he said “nope”. Good job Charlotte~  I can’t wait to meet their little one!
